The design of Goodwin Village Downer focuses on creating a nurturing environment that promotes rehabilitation and healthy living for active seniors.

Consisting of 109 independent living apartments and 21 serviced apartments, the village features a community hub facility comprised of both communal and administrative spaces, and ample car parking for residents, staff, and visitors.

In this development, communal spaces are considered as an extension of the home. These spaces are multifunctional and easily accessible, with multiple seating options acknowledging various accessibility requirements, and the flow from the lounge areas into the communal kitchen catering for a variety of activities and events.

The interiors are inspired by the local surrounds, incorporating natural colours from the Canberra inner north landscape, creating a soft and familiar look. Blond timber finishes reflect the light, supporting strong visibility with a warm and welcoming environment.
