ACT Chief Minster, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate
Nara House Level 4 fit out was a pilot for 125 people on a 1250 m² floor plate for the Chief Minister, Treasury and Economic Development Directorate. Planning and stakeholder engagement workshops formed the foundation for a basic planning model, which was a mixture of workstation zones, quiet spaces, collaboration, and meeting rooms.
Plywood is used extensively to the interior core rooms creating warmth and texture. Rope screens and perforated metal elements create a sensory experience while doubling as privacy and acoustic barriers.
Bold colours are used to create clear zones and allow users to easily orientate themselves within the elongated space.
